Where can I find directions to the location?

 

You can generate driving directions on the page of the location on this website. In the right column you will find a widget in which you should input your address.

This will generate a route from your address to the location.

Can I book a specific Raft ?

 

Although the booking system numbers the rafts, it is not possible to book a specific raft. The rafts on the sites are not numbered as such.

Are you familiar with a location and the location of the rafts it may happen that you have a preference for a particular raft. Basically, we use a first come, first served principal.

 

 

Is it possible to book a raft for one night?

 

Generally you can only book a raft for 2 or 3 nights. In the case of last minute bookings (up to 2 days before) it is sometimes possible to book for one night. If you want to know whether this is possible please call +31 (0) 167 502 621.

This kind of special bookings are only accepted by telephone.

 

 

Is it possible to book a raft in the winter period?

This is only possible on the locations Marnemoende and De Heen. Please note that in wintertime, when there is ice, the rafts might not be reachable, your booking can be canceled by the site owner.

 

Is fishing allowed on the Raft?

 

Fishing may, under the following conditions:

De Wissen (Belgium): Fishing is allowed provided you are in possession of a valid fishing permit. This is available on all Belgian post office.

De Heen: Fishing allowed if you are in possession of a fishing permit.

The Cleypoel: Fishing allowed if you are in possession of a fishing permit.

Marnemoende: Fishing is allowed, you do not need a permit.

Attention! Make sure the raft is clean when you leave!

 

 

What are the arrival and departure times?

You are welcome from noon on the arrival date and you are expected to leave before noon on the day of departure.

 

How quietly situated are the rafts?

The rafts at De Heen and De Wissen are quite distant from each other in the reeds. To get there, you have to paddle quite a bit.

The rafts at De Cleypoel and Marnemoende are closer to the inhabited world in the form of a marina.

 

We are a family of five, can we book one raft?

A camping raft is designed for 4 adults. A family of two adults and three young children can easily stay on a raft. The indoor portion of the raft is 2.5 to 5 meters.

In this case, for all the five persons should be paid. You need to select three extra guests on the booking form.

 

Can I exploit rafts myself?

Are dogs allowed on the raft?

They are welcome, but have a very limited room to maneuver.

In addition, the rafts are only accessible by water and your dog can not easily get ashore. It must be able to travel by canoe.

Dogs are allowed if they make no damage to the raft or cause inconvenience to the surroundings. Upon leaving the raft good cleaning is demanded.

 

Can we rent bicycles at the raft?

On all current locations, it is possible to rent bicycles. For more specific information please contact your location.

Which payment methods are supported?

Currently payments can be made through iDeal (most Dutch debit cards), Bancontact/Mister Cash, KBC/CBC on-line banking, Maestro, MasterCard, Visa and American Express.

 

Is it possible to buy a Gift Coupon?

Yes, you can buy a Gift Coupon with your preferred discount amount by telephone. On successful payment you will receive a unique discount code which can be used once in the on-line booking process.

Thus, the receiver of the gift certificate can decide by himself when to use the discount..
